Dolphin Research Institute

Ballarat

Pursuant to Hugh’s wishes, since 1986 the Trustees have maintained a strong interest in the cultural, economic and environmental wellbeing of Ballarat and surrounding areas and have made grants to a range of organisations including the Art Gallery of Ballarat, Her Majesty’s Theatre, Ballarat Mechanics Institute, Sovereign Hill, Creative Clunes, Eureka Mums and YWCA Housing. Most recently, the Foundation made a significant grant to the Ballarat Foundation in support of the redevelopment of a building in Ballarat’s CBD to create a community hub for the benefit of the wider Ballarat community....
