Pursuant to Hugh’s wishes, since 1986 the Trustees have maintained a strong interest in the cultural, economic and environmental wellbeing of Ballarat and surrounding areas and have made grants to a range of organisations including the Art Gallery of Ballarat, Her Majesty’s Theatre, Ballarat Mechanics Institute, Sovereign Hill, Creative Clunes, Eureka Mums and YWCA Housing.
Science Gallery

NGV Design Centre
The Foundation has a long association with the NGV and has supported a range of programs. It is currently providing core support for the Department of Contemporary Design and Architecture enabling the NGV to make a meaningful contribution to design and to build partnerships with the design community around the world.
Epworth Geelong Education and Simulation Centre
With support from the Foundation the Epworth Geelong has built a world class Education and Simulation Centre where medical students and staff can replicate real life scenarios in realistic settings bringing benefits not only to the people of Geelong but all of south-west Victoria.
